Hello! Welcome to my face reading web site. I’m Kara Pomeroy, Certified Face Reader. I know I’m not alone when I say that faces have always fascinated me. I think most people are intrigued by how the infinite variety of eyes, nose, and mouth combine to give every one of us a face that is both unique and common at the same time.

Even so, when I was introduced to this work of face reading, I thought, hmmm, really? You can tell what someone’s personality will tend to be based on the arch of their eyebrow or the size of their nose? Well, yes, actually, and experience has born this out.

There are natural rhythms we all fall into. You’re a morning person. You’re a night owl. You love to be around people. You need time alone. You thrive on change and newness. You prefer things to stay pretty much the same.

When we live from our innate rhythm, life flows, we’re in “the groove.” If, however, we’ve jumped out of “the groove,” life can seem pretty difficult in a variety of ways. This often happens without our even noticing, much less understanding, how we got there. Life just seems harder than it should be. A face reading can bring to light what your natural tendencies are and help you re-align with them, so getting back into your groove is easy once again.

The ancient Chinese culture gifted the world with a great many things, among them the art of face reading. Face reading is a branch of Chinese medicine which came into being through the observations of the ancient Chinese Taoist monks, priests, scholars and mystics. Using a holistic view of the world, they noticed the patterns in nature and how they interplayed with one another. This is the basis for face reading. The understanding that everything affects everything else. What we eat affects how we feel. Stress affects our health, as much as the state of our important relationships. The face is a microcosm for the macrocosm of the body, an out picturing of the original intent of who you came here to be.

Whether or not you feel in touch with your original intent, a face reading can offer new insights and clarity for you, where you are in life right now, and the direction you are heading.
